My wife and I have been bringing our dog to this clinic for quite some time now, and every visit reminds us why we wouldn’t go anywhere else. The care, compassion, and professionalism shown by every single member of the team are truly exceptional. From routine visits to more worrying times, we’ve always felt supported, listened to, and reassured. It’s clear that everyone genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the animals they look after, and that kindness shines through in everything they do. We are incredibly grateful to every member of staff for the dedication, patience, and expertise they’ve shown over the years. Knowing our beloved companion is in such capable and caring hands gives us complete peace of mind, and that means more than words can say. Thank you all for everything you do. They nearly killed my cat twice due to a terrible mistake, administering the wrong vaccination or deworming treatment. Their conduct was appalling. When we needed paperwork for travel, they made no effort whatsoever to help us. On top of that, they asked us to sign liability waivers because they themselves were not even sure about what they were going to administer to our cat. Avoid this veterinary clinic at all costs. They should not even be allowed to practice. If you care about your pets, do not take them there.

Our kitten between life and death after a routine visit. For his very first visit at Brompton Veterinary Clinic, our 10 month old British Shorthair kitten, Winston, received several treatments at the same time: vaccination, external parasite treatment (Stronghold) and worming treatment (Milbemax). Standard protocol for a first visit. Back home, Winston was listless, lethargic and uncoordinated, and had to be hospitalised as an emergency at another clinic. Winston was between life and death. The diagnosis from the emergency vets was alarming. We were told not to expect a recovery, and rather to prepare ourselves for our kitten's death. Thankfully, Winston survived. Brompton Veterinary Clinic eventually acknowledged that there had been an overdose, that he had been given 10 times the correct dose of Milbemax by mistake. The clinic apologised and committed to following up on Winston's care. Unfortunately, we were never contacted by the clinic for any follow up, or for example to arrange monthly check-ups. Once back home, after a few days of hospitalisation under observation, we decided to stop all further treatment, and we skipped the booster vaccination appointment, having been completely terrified after watching our first ever pet nearly die in our hands. Eight months later (yesterday), given the relationship that had been built and the clinic's commitment to looking after Winston, it felt natural for us to contact them for a vaccination. They were very responsive, and we were given a quick appointment. The next day, what seemed like a good sign of commitment. The D-day, only a few hours before Winston was due to receive this new vaccine (a rabies vaccine this time, for a long planned trip), Brompton Veterinary Clinic suddenly informed us that the vaccine itself could not be ruled out either as a possible cause of our kitten's reaction eight months earlier. We were then told that it would be necessary, urgently and under our signature, to use a human antihistamine (Chlorphenamine), outside of its veterinary marketing authorisation, accompanied by a waiver stating in black and white that "no guarantee can be given regarding the outcome of treatment." We found this scandalous, and this new episode confirmed to us that Brompton Veterinary Clinic was more concerned with protecting itself legally than with the actual protocols for administering medication to animals, and without any apparent scruples about it. We obviously cancelled the appointment on the spot and asked to receive Winston's full medical file. I leave it to you to judge Brompton Veterinary Clinic for yourselves.

I have never found a Vet, Kevin who cares more, very thorough and gives very fair diagnosis…we have and had Weimaraner and we would never use anyone else.

I genuinely struggle to find the right words to describe how exceptional Brompton Veterinary Clinic is. Under the leadership of Dr Kevin, this team sets a completely different standard of care. Dr Kevin is not only extraordinarily knowledgeable, particularly when it comes to brachycephalic breeds like bulldogs, but he is also one of the most attentive, thorough and compassionate professionals I have ever encountered. He knows my dog’s medical history inside out, follows up personally and never overlooks detail. That level of continuity and accountability is very rare. Unfortunately, our emergencies always seem to happen on weekends, which has meant visits to different hospitals. Yet every single time, Dr Kevin makes sure to check in, review the situation and provide clear, masterful guidance regardless of the hour. That kind of dedication is not common.. it is exceptional. A huge thank you as well to Dr Florence for her masterful knowledge and obvious love for animals. She is thoughtful, precise and deeply caring. I always learn from her as an owner, in each visit. Fanni at reception is the definition of professionalism - calm, veeery knowledgable and always reassuring. And Luke provides such gentle, attentive care that you can see how much he genuinely cares about every pet who walks through the door. Finding Brompton Veterinary Clinic (quite literally through word of mouth in the park) has made an enormous difference to both my frenchie’s life and mine. We feel safe here. And when you have a brachycephalic breed with complex needs, that peace of mind is everything. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.

BVC are great! The team really care about the animals and the parents and that kind of thoughtfulness is hard to come by these days! We thoroughly trust their advice and treatment and absolutely recommend them!
